Scrapbooks
Some number of years ago we were trying to figure out what to give to grandparents that have everything. We racked our brains for a while when finally it dawned upon us: Put all our digital photos to work in the form of a scrapbook detailing our activities of the past year!
The first couple years were a completely low-tech affair and we have no additional copies other than the collection of digital images that went into them.
Starting with the 2003 scrapbook, we used Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations then print and bind them. That step had the beneficial side effect of making replication much easier, and it also allowed for us to readily post the scrapbooks in an online format for all family members to see.
The list below has links to the web published versions of each that we have available. The earliest years are simple slide shows made using the HTML Slide Show Wizard PowerToy.
