- This past year focused a lot on the phrase, “Out with the old; In with
the new.”
- We sold our condo, bought a new
house, and Christina got a great full-time job. We were also blessed with visitors
this past year and both got to do a bit of traveling as well.
|

- We had a lot of visitors this past year.
- Aleta came to visit us at the condo in March. We showed her around the area while
she visited and also managed to see the Tacoma Museum of Glass.
- Gina visited in late March and we gave her the tour of the area during
her visit. She also came to see
us to ring the New Year in and see our new home.
- Emily and Dan visited us at our condo in May. We took them downtown and hiking at
Rattlesnake Ledge.
- Patricia came in late July to help us paint our new house!
- Finally, Pat and Edwin came to see us for Thanksgiving. We went to the wineries in the area
and enjoyed many nights in front of a warm fireplace.

- We worked hard to improve our
condo before we sold it. It was only on the market two weeks before we
found a buyer. We hired
professional movers to take care of the heavy lifting this time, but
Chester tried to help us pack the boxes.

- We moved into a new two story
colonial home on a shy acre lot.
It is about 15 years old and in need of some TLC but we’re
looking forward to fixing it up.

- Christina spent January through June working as a math instructor at
Lake Washington Technical College.
- Concurrently, she worked as a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center and gave
her two-weeks notice in July.
- In August, Christina started working full time as a math teacher at
Chrysalis School, a private school in Woodinville.

- We had another Haunted Housewarming Party, but we were so busy at the
party that we forgot to take pictures.
- These pictures are from a friend’s Halloween party the day before.

- In March of 2003, Matt switched teams at Microsoft and is now working
for the Rights Management Server team.
He gets to work on security issues which is his passion so the
change was a good one.
- He’s been highly praised for his work there and has even created a video
of his top ten tips for securely testing, which is used often for
training testers within the company.
- Matt had the opportunity this November to go to Comdex in Las Vegas, a
large international computer show.
There he represented his team answering questions relating to its
products. He had some fun while
there too. He saw various shows
including Cirque de Soleil’s production of “O”.

- While in Michigan, Christina
stayed with her sister Aleta at her new house. She had the opportunity to see parents
and grandmothers from both families.
